Most inventions are aimed to make cardiac procedures less invasive by replacing hand suturing with sutureless techniques mostly through use of memory metals, like Nitinol, and in other cases by tissue glue.
Most of the inventions have been engineered, prototyped, and extensively tested in-vitro, ex-vivo,
in acute and chronic in-vivo tests, and the results of these tests have been presented at a number of international scientific meetings, and through publications in international scientific journals.
The research of Dr. Berreklouw is supported by well renowned experts in the medical field.
