Daidalos sutureless biological tricuspid valves
Advantages of the Daidalos technology
Unlike other sutureless biological aortic valves, like the Perceval® valve of Sorin, the 3F-Enable® valve of Medtronic, and the Intuity® valve of Edwards the Daidalos sutureless biological tricuspid valve does not involve stent technology, but makes use of a proprietary Nitinol attachment ring that is fully covered by textiles, has a very low profile, and can be applied with any current unchanged (FDA approved) biological heart valve.
Daidalos sutureless tricuspid bio-valves are not compressed, nor expanded, nor dilated, and do attach themselves strongly to the anatomical mitral valve annulus, with a low profile, without right ventricular outflow tract obstruction (RVOTO) or para-valvular leakage. The method proved to be feasible during ex-vivo animal testing.
The Daidalos sutureless biological tricuspid valve technology is currently the only available technology to implant uncompressed tricuspid valve prostheses without sutures.
Alternative two-component technology to easily replace degenerated biological valves

Daidalos sutureless biological valves can be implanted as an one-component technique, but also as a two-component technique.
If used as a two-components, the attachment ring functions as a platform to be connected to the valve prosthesis. This two-component feature will allow rapid replacement of degenerated or otherwise failing biological valves.
Daidalos two-component valve technology is unique because it is the only sutureless two-component technology currently available compared to other two-component valves like the VXiVitality Valve® of ValveXChangeand the Arbor Valve® of Arbor Surgical Technologies (as licensed to Medtronic). The VXiVitality Valve® makes use of a hand-sewn platform, while the Arbor Valve® makes use of individually positioned small staplers. Daidalos technology is the only two-component technology that is sutureless and an one-shot device.
